Finally another actual timeshare review, if one I've gone to a few times before. However, this time I brought my cousin and his family, specifically his 5 and 7 year old boys for a bit of a kids focused stay (compare my older reviews for adults reviews). Lots of stuff I didn't do before, and how you can have a full trip and a blast just staying mostly at the resort.

 
Actually owning at Smugglers Notch in Vermont for 22 years we had years that we never left the resort. Similar.
 
I always enjoy Massanutten -The NUT. However, my wife always felt it was a low-end timeshare. Also, it is the only TS where I had someone complain we were noisy - as you share a bldg with another unit (top and bottom).

There are so many activities.
 
I liked Massanutten, never asked an AAA counselor for the scenic route to this resort, especially if you are driving a standard ship transmission vehicle. Back roads with Hills and curves all the way

Coming from Tidewater,Va to Massanutten. Please take Interstate 64 to Interstate 81. LOL
