Interesting addition that I saw on the Massanutten activity pages.
Starting June 1 they will have a resort shuttle. It isn't free and they don't list hours so it is hard to judge how useful it will be. Prices are per person. Currently on the schedule from June 1-June 27 so maybe a pilot program.
A single ride is $2.75
an all day pass $10.00
3 day pass $15.00
7 day pass $20.00

Most activities are not within walking distances to most units. Some units are within walking distance to an outdoor pool and some are not. I think it is nice if you have older teens that want some independence and you don't have to drive them everywhere. It also could be nice if you are drinking and you don't want to have to worry about a designated driver for a single occasion.

I wish it were included as part of the resort fee.

Is this another way this resort is nickel and dime owners, renters and exchangers.

This is sad because they are charging by the day and by the per person.

I wander what color the arm band will be ? LOL

At least this is optional and charging you for something new versus something that was previously free.

Massanutten certainly has many a la carte services that all have their own fee …. but overall they keep maintenance fees at a reasonable level.

The resort fee is not something I love, but I understand why it is the way it is ….

Most places I exchange into now charge one … some with resort fees and cleaning fees that are much higher than Massanutten’s.

Been an owner for over 20 years. Every time I was there my top recommendation was to have a shuttle. I would golf or ski and my wife would take craft classes. Was always a pain coordinating travel with one vehicle. Well worth the price. I don't understand people complaining because there is a fee. It's better than not having one at all.

The shuttle is back this summer. It runs from July 1 - August 31 this summer. Guess they have pushed it back as it started on June 1 last year.

I have seen it, but not used it. I intend to sometime. Maybe this winter? I am glad they are offering this.

Massanutten is a very large resort and shuttle service is needed. Is the daily cost for everyone in the villa?

You only need a shuttle if you are short of cars for the number of activities people are doing.
