Marriott's Villas at Doral parking included?

As booked with destination points I believed parking for one car was included at this resort (in fact I've always had it included so far at any resort), can anyone clarify?

It is included for timeshare based stays, which is what Abound point reservation would be.

There are some properties that don't include parking, mainly the City Collection, which Doral is not one.

Is that local “Spanish” resorts?
We find the MVC staff at resorts in Spain very friendly and welcoming.

Looking at staying at this resort before or after a cruise. The resort is only about 25 minutes from the Miami Cruise Port. We will be Cruising in April 2026.
Is there must to do at the resort and the surrounding area; especially good restaurants?

Is the area safe for morning and evening walking? Does the resort still provide round-trip shuttle from the airport to the resort?

Do you need an automobile to enjoy the area?

I haven't stayed there but I'm interested in the answers. We've cruised out of Miami but it's been a while. Our last cruise was out of FLL as is the next one we have out of South FL. This will be a longer trip so we're still figuring out whether to stay at Beachplace, Singer Island and drive down or Crystal Shores and drive over on embarkation day. Doral is on our list of options.

We are in N. FL and I have an 8 week retirement trip planned. Still trying to piece it together. Current plans look something like this subject to exchange matches.

Week 1 DVC
week 2 either OP/Oceana Palms or CS
week 3 Cruise out of FLL
week 4 BeachPlace but could consider Miami (either City Collection or Doral instead)
week 5 either OP/Ocean Palms or CS likely opposite of week 2 option
week 6 Clearwater or St. Pete Beach
week 7 Cruise out of Canaveral
Week 8 ? likely St. Augustine or Orlando.

Ideally we'd do Singer island week 2 and CS week 5 (or 4). This would be the most efficient. Other than the cruises and DVC, hoping to do as much using exchanges as possible. Following the 2025 availability I'm not too concerned on getting exchanges except for CS and possibly, Oceana Palms. We haven't stayed at Oceana Palms and have been to Ocean pointe several times so we'd likely to try something new but nice to have Ocean Pointe as a back up. If I were to get CS on exchange more than the 1 week I might have to alter my plans. I'll reserve CS on points the week before and after our first cruise then see what happens with exchanges. just getting into finalizing our plans mentally at this point then comes to reservations and exchanges. It's a little too early to expect much action on reservations or exchanges yet.

I liked your 8 weeks planning. Sometimes I wish we lived in the sunshine state. I would cruise once a month.

The nearest cruise port to us is about 3 hours but the nearest one for a line I'd consider is about 4.5 to 5 hours (Tampa & Canaveral). I ended up booking CS for the week 4 above but may change it to the week 5 and booked Ocean Pointe for the week 2. I'm hoping to replace them both with exchanges but we'll see, esp for CS. I can't book DVC or Bluegreen yet and it's a little early to expect matches to my exchange requests.

Yes, those are the Marriott Vacation Club resorts located in Spain. I’ve also heard that the staff there are consistently welcoming and professional. I’m planning a trip to Spain myself and have been looking into some guided travel options through GoWithGuide to help with planning the itinerary. Do you have a preferred MVC resort in Spain that you’d recommend, or anyone else here who’s stayed at one and can share their experience?
