Are the Marriott Grande Vista and Cypress Harbour next to each other? Are they within walking distance? We are staying at Grande Vista and other family staying at Cypress Harbour. Which of the 2 is more fun for a 14 and 15 year old.

Also reading alot about renovations, we are going thanksgiving week. Would hate to have game room or kids activities closed. Does anyone know of where I can find more info about the renovation process at Grande Vista?

Thanks,

rachel

Definitely call and ask about the renovations at MGV. There is a high likelihood that they are affecting the game room as they are renovating and expanding the main clubhouse area.

Owners at Cypress harbour

Cypress Harbour has no (current - to my knowledge) renovations in progress and has an awesome resort layout for teenagers and younger kids alike (and an 'Award-winning' maze?).

Haven't been to GV - but know that both of these resorts have their own advocates - you (and your friends/relatives) will no doubt enjoy both.

I have stayed at both numerous times and I think I would give GV the edge for a teenager. CH is a quieter resort that almost feels like the Caribbean. GV is bigger and more populous and has a busier feel to it.

The two resorts are across the street from each other however the way the entrances are laid out you pretty much have to drive between them.

Grande Pines golf course winds around Cypress Harbour while the 9-hole course is based at GV.
