Marriott's Mountain Valley Lodge August 2011

Karen and I went to MMVL to celebrate our wedding anniversary from August 19 thru Auguwst 25, 2011. We took some close friends with us as well. This was our first time to stay in this resort since we purchased it on ebay in June 2010. MMVL is a very nice resort in an excellent location that is part of Main Street Station. Our room overlooked Maggie's Pond and we also had a great view of the mountains. I have already posted a picture in the TUG Banner thread.

We were able to visit CottonWood Springs for a natural thermal experience. The drive took us by the Continental Divide and Hoosier Gulch. We also were able to join some friends who were staying at The Ritz Carlton in Avon. We were able to visit Vail at that time. The entire area is beautiful. However, DW and I just love the old Victorian buildings in Breckenridge.

I do agree.
I stayed at Hyatt Grand Aspen 2 years ago, and was driving to Avon and Breck area one day.
I really liked Beaver Creek area and main st. station.
Pretty buildings, shops and wonderful scenery.

Breck has become one of our two favorite locations to visit, along with Palm Beach Shores, FL. It's a location we intend to visit on a yearly basis.
