Marriott's Harbour Point and Sunset Pointe at Shelter Cove...What to request for this weekend?

I saw a 2 bedroom unit at Sunset Point online with II this morning using an accommodation certificate. I've made my air and car rental reservations. What should I request, especially on this short notice? I won't get an email asking what to request, but I plan to call the resort as soon as the system has been updated with my Marriott Bonvoy account information. We're just using this as a short notice getaway to add the 7 nights to my account for 2020. I also booked my flight into HHH instead of SAV, which I've never done before. The airfare into HHH has always been higher than SAV. Since it was the same, why bother driving that extra 45 minutes? Any advice?

Awesome that you got HHH that is so close to the resorts. I don't know the room numbers at SP being an owner at HP but I would request a sunset view room because SP definitely has some nice ones.

Does anyone know when the units were updated at Sunset Point?

They were updated two years ago.

Thanks for the update. I just called the resort and was advised that the units were renovated in 2018. This is good.

Ok, so we checked in Saturday and I decided that I would not complain since this was a last minute find on II using an AC. I need the 7 nights in my Bonvoy account for 2021. There is construction going on daily, but of course this work has to be done at some point. The parking is really bad since two sections are completely closed off and the workers vehicles are all over the place. These units are in need of a serious remodel, especially the master shower. The kitchen appliances are very tired with one burner on the stove not working.

Update:
All water has been turned off from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm today. ( Wednesday) This is certainly no way to vacation. The water dept is making some kind of repairs. Ok, but 5 hours without water while on vacation? We had to bathe before 9:00 and put water in pots to flush the toilets. We’re going to the movies and get a bite to eat just to get out of here for a few hours. I’m not happy.
