Marriott's Crystal Shores & Hurricane Helene

When school was canceled due to Hurricane Helene, almost booked a last minute trip to Marriott's Crystal Shores, but didn't end up going.

Anyone know if Marriott's Crystal Shores had any storm surge issues?

I don't know for sure, but I don't believe Marco Island was under any evacuation order or even opened up evacuation shelters. The HUB resort update page makes no mention of issues regarding Helene at Crystal Shores.

From what I've been able to find, there appears to have been some street flooding, but I haven't seen any reports of structural damage.

I can't imagine there would've been enough interruption that would've ruined your trip. A little flooding and some crazy breezes but I think It would've been a fine idea.
