Did anyone else receive an email to join MVC for their Web seminar (webinar) discussing ways to redeem for reward points? Is this something new because of owner outrage to point changes? or is this something they have always sent out? We have owned for 3 years and have never seen the invite before.

Received the invite and joined in on the one recently held...IMO, not worth the 45 minutes. Lots of advertising for Marriott, not much substance for TUGgers who know more than Marriott in many cases. Also, the presenter was a newbie and not very good.

Did they take & answer any questions? I thought I'd join in if I could ask questions about owners low redeem values and what they might do to fix them, if anything. Or is this just a standard presentation? I pretty much learned everything there is to know (for now anyway) already here on TUG.
Thanks
Crystal

There was the ability to ask questions, however, I didn't stick around long enough for the Q&A. As I recall, this webinar was prior to the points devaluation. Not sure that they would answer those types of questions anyway...most likely would refer you to someone else in the organization.

I attended webinar this week and it was basic information/infomercial and did go over the existing and new point system change. The presenter addressed the point devaluation, but dressed it up as "additional value" since this new system also does away with anytime points, where you would pay double points.

Questions were posted but not all were answered.

thanks for the reply, I'll skip this one. But if they had one for the purposed new point system - that would be nice!
