hi...has anyone traded into this Marriott in the summer before? Is it tough to get? I just found awesome fares to Marseille August 2017 and would love to stay in a two bedroom. Any advice would be appreciated!

I have used DC Points to book Paris in May (not peak Summer)
Marseilles is 1000km from Paris though?

Is that far? We are spending 3 weeks in France so I figured we'd vineyard hop up that way. I have a relative that lives in Toulon so we use her house as a homebase. Would love to spend a week at the Marriott village dell France if I can get a exchange.

It is certainly practical, as long as you understand it is almost the full length of France from South to North.
I just checked though and I had overestimated, it is no more than 800km or 500 miles.
We drove it on the autoroutes twice a year for many years, as either one very long days drive or two more leisurely days drive with an overnight stop.
Alternatively, you could take the fast TGV train from Marseilles to Paris in under 4 hours or fly then make your way out to the MVC resort.

We got an exchange to a 2 bedroom there in the middle of July 2015. It was nice that our week turned out to include Bastille day. The resort was very nice with the only downside being the daily travel time to Paris if that is your priority.

Did you use a 2 bedroom to get a 2 bedroom? Was it via an on going search? Sorry if these are dumb questions I'm new to il and timesharing in general.
