My husband and I will be staying at Shadow RIdge Villas Dec 9-16, and looking at golf prices they are crazy this time of year. We're planning on golfing a few other courses in the area using some deals from underpar.com and possibly golfnow if we can find anything last minute through that, but I'm wondering if anyone has golfed at Shadow Ridge and is it really worth the price there, or should we just focus other places where we are able to get some 2 for 1 deals? Thinking right now we will try Tahquitz Creek in Palm Springs, Mountain Vista Sun City, and maybe Palm Desert Country Club. We are average golfers and not picky just looking forward to being able to enjoy golf in the winter as we have never been to Palm Springs our on a winter golf trip before! Open to other recommendations as well.

We are trading through II, so not sure if they will offer any deals when we check-in, but would be willing to listen to a timeshare presentation if it meant getting some free golf :).

Thanks
Lisa

As long as you don't end up buying, attending their timeshare presentation usually has the option of 2 rounds of golf not including cart fees which is usually $25 to $30 pp. I don't know if you were the one who asked a similar question in a separate thread about Shadow Ridge golf course, but I had given a very lengthy reply there.

No - definitely not planning on buying! It was not me that asked the other question, and I didn't see that post when I posted this - sorry I did a search but evidently not for the right thing. Anyway I found that and it was very helpful - thanks!
