Another opportunity to earn or use Bonvoy points! It’s a nice property that we usually visit whenever we go up to Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck.

I have a fond memory of Turtle Bay Resort from 25 years ago.
I was newly married and my husband had never been to Hawaii.
I surprised him with a 3 night trip. 2 nights Waikiki and one night Turtle Bay.

(Laughing now because I rarely make a trip to Hawaii for less than 2 weeks.)

I had scored a great price using one of the discount hotel sites.
Upon arrival at Turtle Bay I had no expectations about room location due to low price we had paid. My husband was chatting with Front desk person, explaining we had spent prior nights in 'City' and I brought him to Turtle Bay to see Real Hawaii. Next thing we know, we've been granted a room in one of the Cottages there. Very Special Place.

I remember when I was growing up it was the Turtle Bay Hilton. Did a few surf/bodyboarding contests there.

We go to Turtle Bay each year when driving to the North Shore. Roy's Beach House restaurant is located there and it is a great place to enjoy lunch and view the whales.
