Marriott renting question

I'm looking into buying a resale of The Marriot Maui Ocean Club and was wondering, roughly, how much I would be able to rent a 1 bedroom lockoff during high season? I checked with II's travel demand index.

I'm actually interested in buying a 2 bedroom lockoff for future use or when I take the whole family and for greater trade vaule with II, but at times, when I would stay here with just my wife, I would either trade in the other bedroom with II or rent it out with Redweek or on my own.

What's the range of the going rate for the 1 bedroom? And what have other Ocean Club owners gotten for their 1 bedroom?

Thanks for the help! Love this site!

MOC rental rates

When you are checking rental rate you should know that in the current economy, with high flight costs, it has been hard to rent units. You might see rates that look attractive from an income point of view, but the unit may never rent at that rate. I tried to rent my lock off this summer for $1000, but the closest I got was an offer for $800.
