Hi all,

I have not had vacationing or timeshares on my mind in so long I forgot what I used to know. I am planning to rent out a week on Redweek and need to know if I choose my week as though I am using it and then later change the name on the reservation once I get a renter?

I didn't know you could rent a week on Redweek and then rent that week to someone else. I bought a second week at SurfWatch this year and because I was going to be there in July, I couldn't fly back in August so I ended up renting it through Redweek. I personally would not want to see my renter turn around and rent the week to someone else. I would be afraid that if there was damage to the villa that SW might come back at me for the damages.

You need to reserve a high demand week first and pay to list it on Redweek. When you have a renter, you add the renter as your guest.

This is not what the OP had asked about. OP is the owner and wanting to know the renting out process.
