Marriott Ocean Club Aruba questions

I have an II exchange into the Ocean Club this summer. II has a room code of HOBOV for the 1 bdr unit.
Anybody know what the HOBOV stands for ?
Also anybody been to the Ocean club in the past year, how is it looking.
One last thing, anybody scuba dive in Aruba ?

I believe (but not positive) that the OV in the code means ocean view. I also believe that Ocean Club only has ocean view and ocean front. You can look up the reservation number at Marriott.com and see room type there.

I have not been there recently but I read in one of the facebook groups that the construction was intrusive. I’m not sure if it’s completely finished but someone posted a picture of a renovated room and it looked really nice.

I have never scuba dived so I can’t answer that one! Enjoy your trip!

What resort did you deposit for exchange to get into the OC? Also, how long did the OGS take to get what you wanted? Room size you deposited? Etc.

There are a bunch of 1 br Ocean Clubs sitting in II right now including 2 the last week of June into July,

Amazing! Thanks for the heads up. I feel like I would never be able to see this with vistana ownerships and now I can. Maybe the news that came out today has something to do with that. That’s exciting
