Marriott Ocean Club Aruba: Contact for Room Assignment Coordinator?

Happy New Year everybody!:cool:
We are heading to Ocean Club in Aruba in February..Yippeee!! Can somebody give me the name & number or email of the person to call/write to request room location?
Which is better Northwest or Southwest view?? Or, something else?

Call MVCI and have them put the request into your reservation. THen the week before call them down there. I like rooms 5429 5529 or 5629. ALso anything from 21 - 29. THis gives you a room that overlooks the pool, and you get the Sun all day long. I believe it beats looking at the hotel or SUrf Club.

room assignment

Are you an owner and using your unit? If you are you should get a decent room. If not and you are going in February, its high season and you may not get what you want even if they indicate to you that they have your request and give you the impression you'll get a good room. I have had both bad and good experience in requesting rooms in advance. In any event, you will be in Aruba so if they give you a lousy location the rooms are still great and the beach is wonderful. Marriott has replaced the online pre-arrival form with their VEP program. VEP stands for "Vacation Experience Planner".

Each Owner will automatically receive a standard confirmation letter about 30 days prior to check in. This great tool allows owners the opportunity to arrange certain things through the Vacation Planner.

If you do not get this confirmation letter within 20 -30 days of your check in date, please contact Corey Guest, General Manager at:

I have deleted nine posts in this thread. The first five were clear violations of the "Be Courteous" posting rule. The last four were deleted because, as an outgrowth of the rules violations, the logical discussion didn't make sense based on the first allowable post in the series.

Should you get something like this as an exchanger, too? I don't remember getting something like this on my last exchange (Manor Club), but maybe I did and just forgot. I do remember getting stuff from my last couple "owner" vacations with all kinds of stuff like reservations for shows, etc..
