is this a good price??

$11,000 for an annual Ko Olina Platinum 2 bedroom? That's an incredibly good price--go for it! Even if it's just moutain view I think that's still an excellent price.

I completely misread the OP's "annual" statement and assumed it was EOY. I agree! That is a fantastic price!

1st - I do not believe that you will find someone will to sell for that amount.
2nd - I do not believe Marriott would let that slip through ROFR.

If a KoOlina is found at this price and you are not interested, let me know - I might be. :D

I believe Marriott would buy that back in a heart beat but we still do not know what the true sales price is going to be.

Personally and from experience, I have seen annual lock-off's sell at $22-$23k (ocean view).

If the ad truly is annual, tow bedroom lock-off, and the price is $11k it is a great deal...I remain skeptical.

I didn't notice the mistake about the MF, but I think this is the ebay listing the OP thought might go for $11,000. I didn't think we would see prices that low for Ko'Olina. The economy might be bad and flights to Hawaii are $$$$, but this is still a very nice resort!!

I'm also thinking about a KoOlina one - but if I can already trade in here, and trades seemed to be getting easier to Hawaii - why spend the $16k or whatever?

That's what I keep telling myself! I think I've had at least 13 exchanges into Ko'Olina. Besides if you purchase you have to pay the MF at Ko'Olina! I'd rather trade in during Flexchange with a studio!
