Anyone have an opinion between the two. If given equal costs for two adults/two children 7 and 8 who LOVE the beach to stay at Marriott Morning Star or at the Frenchmans Cove timeshare, which would you pick?

Thanks

If your kids love swimming in the ocean, then Morningstar is your place. The Frenchman's cove has a beach but the ocean has too much coral. The Frenchman's Cove has a fabulous pool. I hope that helps.

When you stay at Frenchmens' Cove, you can use all beaches, pools, amenities of the Marriott Frenchmens' Reef/Morningstar Beach resort plus you have a 2BR 2Bath 1200+ sf condo with a great view. Hotel guest can not use the facilities at FC.

For four people, I would hands down take FC.

I agree with Grayfal. Not sure it's even a good comparison unless you are staying only for a very short period. If it is the same cost FC should be the obvious choice. Also with FC you have your own kitchen. Eating out all the time in St. T is not cheap....

Chuck

Besides the cost savings of having a kitchen and, of course, the larger space, especially with kids the added convenience of a kitchen can't be beat. Even if you intend to go out for dinner every night, having a kitchen even for breakfast and snacks can make a huge difference in a vacation; it is so much easier in the mornings especially than having to get up and out right away.

Another plus for Frenchman's Cove:

Your own washer and dryer in your unit. I've been spoiled now forever by that one feature alone.

Hands down FC over Morningstar. You can rent a car and drive over to their beach or take the free shuttle.

As someone mentioned earlier the pool at FC is very nice with a small water slide.

Thanks folks, great info, will check out the Cove. Appreciate your time everyone. I did reserve a car with Budget. We have definitely enjoyed the suites at other Marriott properties.

Thanks again
