I am going to Marriott Marbella Spain summer 2009. I have a 3 bd with code
THVI. What does THVI mean? I could use advice on Southern Spain.

It just means you're getting a 3 BR. This resort is like NCV in that it was sold with the same view for everyone.

You need to call Owner Services and request block 40, 30 (20 is smoking) or 10 to be in the front buildings next to the pools and with great sea views. Request high floor but note the top floor doesn't have covered shade.

Then two weeks before you go call the resort and ask to speak to the room controller and repeat your request.

As you're going prime time you'll be behind owners in pecking order for those front units. So my second choice would be block 21 which looks out onto the top garden pool plus as the resort is built on a slope then you should also get sea views.

Hope this helps.

Is there an 800 number we can call to make a room request? I cannot call abroad from my phone. Thanks.

GreyFal - As you're direct exchanging then you'll have the same privileges as the owner so you need to ask the owner to make your request with Cork Owner Services.

I'm direct exchanging my 2009 Spanish units for NCV. I've told Owner Services in Cork that I'm swapping and that he desires a unit close to tne beach with sea views, either 40, 30 or 10 and high floor.

I called NCV directly having had the owner there to request pretty much the same for us and was told to call again 2 weeks before we arrive. I'm trying to make sure the unit I've rented for my parents is next to ours or at least close by.
