We have 2 mountain view reservations coming up and would like to ask advice for what rooms to request. I've searched tug and can't seem to find a map with room numbers on it similar to one I found for Marriott Maui Ocean Club. Nevertheless, we've stayed enough times that I believe that I've pieced together some actual room numbers. Anyway, all thoughts welcome.
Reservation 1: 4 nights in MV studio (lock off of 3 bedroom). This appears to have only one location on property in the Naia tower. It appears that this could be an excellent view as the location is near the ocean end of the tower. I assume that I should just ask for as high of a floor as possible here.
Reservation 2: 7 nights MV 1 bedroom. I believe my best options here are in the Kona tower in the wing closer to the ocean. Based on reviewing prior folios for this tower, I've made some guesses on actual room numbers. I believe the best potential views (showing the pools and on higher floors likely the ocean) would be in the 5/7 and 3/1 stacks (i.e., 10805, etc.). Any thoughts on views here? Any better 1 bedroom mountain view locations with any hope for a peak of the ocean? I think my second choice would be in kona tower facing toward Naia tower and the marina (and I think with some limited view of the lagoon in front of Kona/Naia). I believe the two units would be stacks 8/6 or 4/2. Any experiences with any of these or suggestions on better MV units to request?
