Marriott Ko olina early December

I have traded my Fox run week #24,(2) Bedroom and (2) Bathroom
for a
one bedroom and one bathroom at the Marriot Ko olina Beach Club in the first week of December, for several years.

do you think I have any chance of trading my Fox run Week #24
Two bedroom and two bathroom
for a
two bedroom and two bedroom at the
Marriott Ko Olina Beach club for the week of December,2016.
 
I'd trade for what ever I could get.... (you could start 2br and then lower it to 1br if you didn't get a match) and add eplus.
Eplus let's you retrade up to 3 times (instant trade only--no ongoing search).

so, inside flex time (<59 days) you could instantly trade for anything you see. There were lots of MKO units this December, but not too many 2br's. (I've been watching just to help predict January)

Wow, I'm impressed that you have been able to get the 1BR with a non-Marriott. I've had little success trying to get a 1BR trading with my WM.

I am skeptical that you will trade for a full 2BR, but only because of my own negative experience.

Just had a 2br for Jan checkin available with non marriott. If you trade within flex change which is less than 59 days out you might get a 2br with your foxrun week. Outside of flexchange the chances are not so good.
If this were me I would take the 1br as soon as I can and add eplus to check during flex period. That way you know you have a room and can purchase airfare. Then I would be checking all the time when it is less than 59 days out for a 2br uptrade.

There are relatively few Ko Olina 2BR units deposited in Interval. Most owners that do not use their own weeks either lock off and deposit one or both halves, or they exchange for DC points (if they are DC members) because the points from a Ko Olina week pull quite a few nights at many other resorts. Therefore, I would not expect you to be able to get a 2BR, but anything is possible in Flexchange.
 
In August I had used 1 BR and a studio to book 2 weeks of 2BR in late Nov into Dec. I just left Ko Olina yesterday and met up with Frank while we were there. The studio was matched through OGS. We were placed in Naia with excellent ocean and pool view. They were booked outside Flexchange.

The problem is that OP does not have marriott preference so it will be harder.
Slightly off topic but I was able to trade a 1br marriott for a 2br MKO for dec 25 to jan 1. I consider that a score as this is a platinum plus event week. Now i get to cancell my aulani ressie and rent out those dvc points.

Might see you there then, got 1 br and 2 br 18-25 but only a studio 25-1. Hoping to trade up to at least a 1 br that week. If you happen to see it.....
 
I am scheduled to check out the 18th and am looking for next week friday, saturday or sunday checkin in a 1br or larger.
Did you trade for the 18-25 rooms?
We definitely have to meet up!
 
I got two 1 br 18-25 with requests and retraded one of them for a 2 br last week. Saw another 2 br a few days ago. I haven't been watching as diligently as I used to but going to now. I can let you know if I see 18-25 and if you could let me know if you see 25-1 that would be awesome.

Yeah let's meet up, I'm sure I'll have lots of time as I'm trying to avoid spending with my bro's inlaws who are also coming. Good thing I have my own place and won't be sharing with anyone.
