The Imperial Palms is *very* small - just two four story buildings attached to the larger Royal palms. The front of all the villas look through trees over a lake and the rear has the entrance from the parking lot. There is an end closer to the 'main' buildings, pools, tennis, and basketball courts and an end closer to the Imperial's 'own' swimming pool...but it's not much of a difference. As for floors, ground and 4th would be 'best' depending on your wishes but 2nd and 3rd are also perfectly fine and allow for fewer steps than the 4th if you don't feel like waiting for the elevator.

Imperial Palms is actually a separate building from Royal Palms. It has it's own parking area, pool and spa. It is across the street from Royal. I would request an end unit on a higher floor.
I don't think it matters. Both Royal and Imperial Palms are very isolated from the larger Marriott hotel and Sabal Palms. Very quiet. High floor gives you quiet from above, but again, there isn't a lot of noise or view.
We have a stay here coming up in June...do any of you know if there's a shuttle available from the World Center to/from the parks? And, if we do have access to it, how much it costs (if anything?) Trying to figure out if it's worth renting a vehicle for all seven of us...or just use a combo of shuttle/lyft/maybe our small car. Thanks!
This info. I am providing is from a couple years ago. The Marriott will take you in a bus to Disneyworld but there is a $12.50 each way price. We had avoided it in the past by driving to Disney Old Key West resort and eating at the Restaurant there before either then going to the bus stop yo take the bus to whatever Disney park we wanted to see. Each bus has a specific Disneyworld destination or take the first one that comes. OR, walk out of the restaurant to the pier and their is a free boat that takes you to Disney Market Place, and stops at Hollywood Studios, at which time you get off there, and catch the next bus to a theme park. It may still work. The worst is that you end up at Disney Market Place. If you do a search, you may find out a bus that stops at a Disney timeshare where you can than catch a bus to Disney Park. SHHHHH don't tell anyone. Patrick
