Marriott Grand Chateau LV - 4th of July week

I'm pretty proud of myself...just traded in II my MDS-I efficiency studio lockoff for a 2BR at MGC for 4th of July week...within 60 days so no upgrade fee (is that new?). Anyone know about fireworks in Vegas for the 4th? I read something about viewing from the rooftop but to expect it may be crowded, but is that also the case in summer? Any other suggestions for our week there? Have not been to Vegas in 20+ years. Of course anticipating it will be very warm.

When done within 60 days, Interval calls that a Flexchange. Flexchange does not incur unit upgrade fees. We love last minute stays as you avoid the fees, and sometimes get even better properties due to last minute cancellations.
