The predicted penny has been dropped. End of timeshare sales model 1.0

Does that mean Marriott has lowered the price by a penny or more? After all, a sale is a lowering of the asking price. If so the end of timeshare as we know it has occurred! And it was only predicted late last week!

Wow. I don't feel any different. Maybe it hasn't sunk in yet.

Marriott has to be kidding right? I was looking to buy a sport week at Cypress Harbour and were watching several on Ebay within the last month. I ended up buying a white week at Sable Palms just last week. I can tell you, and if anyone doubts me check the below links to Ebay, that the last several listings have gone for less than $2500 for a Sport week at Cypress Harbour.

The timeshare market is not efficient. Prices for timeshares have significant ranges depending on the seller's marketing muscle, forums used, seller's patience and the like.

Is this similar to what they did in the last recession?
