I have a Platinum unit at the CH and are looking to get rid of it. Tried resale and they only want me to deed back. I did not see any for sale on the TUG site.
Any suggestions how to unload. Thanks

What week and how much is maintenance fee?

I would be interested in knowing how you’re going to get rid of it too! I have a gold week.

me as well.

Redweek has a few listed...the low Platinum ask is $799.

If there are none listed in the TUG Marketplace, perhaps you should try listing yours there. If you are a TUG member and still have some ad credits from when you signed up, it would be free.

Amazing how a prime Marriott timeshare located in DT Boston is only worth $800 - but we all knew that timeshares are not a real estate investment when we purchased. Cannot believe that Marriott will not even offer some $$ for such a prime location - as it is impossible to get into the CH using Destination Points.

Depending on the maintenance fee, you may make some $$ by renting it out on websites such as VRBO, AirBnB, and maybe even Booking.com. I rented out a KoOlina week on VRBO about 1 year ago and it was easy to do and got lots of inquiries about 3 months out from occupancy. Actually made a few $$, but I am not in the business of timeshare rentals - just have too many other things to do.

The last MF's recorded in the MF Sticky for CH was in 2016 at $1,657. Roll that forward 2 years, even at 5% gets you to an estimate for 2018 of around $1,826, which is a lot for a 1BR. Granted $260 a night for a CH 1BR in that superb Boston location is still excellent, but I think those MF's for a 1BR in the MVC system is the issue with the low sale pricing.
