Does anyone have experience with Marriott Copley Place Boston? The reviews are not good. I have enough points to stay at this hotel and can get the type of rooms we want.

courtyard by Marriott Copley Place has much better reviews (Tripadvisor), but I don't have enough points for the type of rooms we want.

"We" are 4 older women. We want to be near public transportation.

Help!

It's a good, not great hotel, but in a marvelous location. I would stay there again in a heartbeat and, in fact, I will in November.

The hotel is connected to the Copley Place Mall and you'll be only a block from a subway station and a separate commuter rail station.

bad reviews?

this is a lovely hotel - I've stayed there many times and agree with Dave M, it's in a great location. Don't pass it up to stay at the Courtyard.

I usually take what I see on tripadvisor.com with a grain of salt - unless they say really horrible things like bedbugs or rats (have actually seen things like that on the site).
