Appreciate any guidance for those who have recently visited Canyon Villas. Just two of us in our 50's, very active, high floors are fine. Just like a nice view. I doubt the pool would be overly crowded so that's fine too.
Thanks

No high floor as all buildings are only 2 story. Only view would be a golf course view.

All the villas are three (3) story buildings. We like the 3rd floor when we are there because we don't like footsteps overhead. It doesn't take that long to use the elevator. The only time we stayed on 2nd floor we had a very very noise party above us. The first floor end units are nice too so you can exit your unit via the sliding glass door onto the cement paths, however someone has to stay behind and lock that door behind so it can be both convenient and inconvenient for families coming and going during the day. (Never leave your unit with sliding doors unlocked) The middle 1st floor units can also be "exited" but you would have to step over the grass and sometimes there are critters out there. It is after all in the desert. Walking along the unlit paths next to the golf course at night can also be a challenge as there are many wild critters that also come out at night. Best to use the interior walkways between buildings at all times.

Yes, all buildings are 3 story. We too prefer the top floor because we don't like to hear people CLOMPING around above us.

As far as views, some units have a nice golf course view. They are on the Eastern ends of those buildings. Take a look at maps.google.com and select satellite view. And some units have views of courtyards, or a pool. So, most of the views are pleasant enough. The only view that would be a little less desireable might be on the south side of building 2900 which faces the lobby and some check-in parking.
