Marriott and HOA Documents for New Owner?

Does Marriott provide any documents to owners that purchased a resort directly from and owner?

When I almost bought a Grand Chateau from Marriott I received a ton of papers that spelled out the terms of ownership; but now all I have is a deed. And yesterday, when I spoke to Marriott about information about the Grande Vista HOA, Owner Services asked me to call the resort and the resort referred me to Owner Services. What essential papers should I have in my files that detail the terms and conditions of ownership? How do I get them?

I posted the question on the Yahoo Grande Vista Owners Group site, but membership in that group is small and I don't expect a reply anytime soon.

Thanks.
Charles

When I buy from a third party, I always make that a condition of purchase - providing me with all of the legal documents that go with the ownership.

I would call Owner Services again and ask to be transferred to the person who can help you.

The Grande Vista Sales Office is sending me a packet.

I thought to give the Sales Office a call because I know from my almost purchase experience at Grand Chateau that they have these materials on hand. I spoke with Daphne and she was very pleasant.
