Marriott’s near Ft. Lauderdale for honeymoon in August?

Are there any Marriott’s near Ft. Lauderdale, for a honeymoon? Looking to help out some really good friends, but not sure if there are any nice Marriott’s there and if they should try to change their flights to somewhere else? Is Florida the place to go now during this pandemic? Thanks in advance

Beach Place is great, no question. For maybe a little bit quieter experience, about 40 minutes from FLL and maybe 15 minutes from PBI are Ocean Pointe and Oceana Palms. They are directly on the beach, unlike Beach Place, which is across the street from the beach. Let's of good restaurants near all of them.

BeachPlace would be a great choice..lots of availability...beautiful beach across the street....Lots of nightlife and good restaurants within walking distance...units have been tastefully redecorated 2 years ago....IMO,newlyweds would love it

The restaurants near Beachplace are awesome. Personally, I would ask for a high floor over looking the canal. For peace and quiet either Ocean Pointe or Ocean Palms. Honeymooners would liked Ocean Palms.IMO.
All three (3) are very nice. Please read some reviews on all three (3) resorts. They are very nice.

IMHO, there are some great brand hotels, timeshares and restaurants, ocean front in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

There are some awesome hotels you can stay and walked to some outstanding restaurants and the beach. We normally do not rent an automobile for our stay at Beach Place.

If you can exchange into a Marriott it is certainly nice.
See what you can get.
I see lots of Beachplace available this summer searching on II for an exchnge with my Marriott unit.
Ocean Pointe July & August, Oceana in August.
Not sure if they are in Marriott priority.

If you see any Marriotts searching with your unit for the dates you want I don’t think you can go wrong.
Not sure about other brands.
Marriott units have priority to exchange to other Marriott owners for 3 weeks once deposited in II. I don’t have a non Marriott to tell you what is available to your unit.
I do see some getaways for purchase on II for beachplace too but for July and then later in August.
