We are married golfers looking to stay at Massanutten in early September (either just us as a couple, or with another couple).
I originally booked an RCI Last Call at Woodstone (and was given unit 387-P---the RCI rep suggested that.
I have looked at the resort layout, but it's hard to tell what everything is facing, etc.
When I called back with questions, a different rep suggested Summit would be better for people without kids---so I now have Unit 80-U.
Here's what I know:
Woodstone is newer, closer to the golf course, etc. However, Unit 387P appears at the far end of the resort, so it looks like we will need the car to and from the course, fitness center, etc---hence I started considering the Summit. The unit at Woodstone is a partial kitchen and does not have a BBQ grill on the deck.
Summit might have better views---would 80 U have good views? That unit has a FULL kitchen.
If I knew that the 'newness' of Woodstone makes it considerably more attractive, and/or that 387-P has a golf course view (it appears to be on the INTERIOR of the street, hence may NOT have golf course views); then that would offset the partial kitchen.
On the other hand, if 387 doesn't face the golf course, and Summit views are much better, then that plus the full kitchen would make that better.
(How far is it from Summitt to Woodstone anyway?)
So, can anyone give me more details of Woodstone 387-P vs. Summit 80-U?
I have to make a choice by Tuesday afternoon.
Thanks,
Pat
