This one will be partially visible (A bite out of the Sun) mostly in Hawaii, but a FAR better one will occur on August 21, 2017, when most of the continental USA will experience totality. It will start around Seattle about 9 a.m. and slide off the East coast of Georgia just before 2:00 p.m.

The local news said it was to start around 4:30p and end around 6:45p. They don't think it will be clear enough to see. Vespers at my place starts at 5p so I'll be watching.
