Hi we just bought a VIP membership at marbrisa for $1700 for 7000 points but the catch is that we have to use by sept 2020. Is it hard to reserve a week or even 4 nights midweek m-f in the summer peak season? If so, how about April and may? Thx!

The VIP membership reservation pool is separate from the owner pool. You need to call HGVC VIP line to inquire about availability.

I believe @CalGalTraveler is correct (separate pool for VIP packages vs owners), but here's what you would see if you were an owner and looking for 4 days in April... not too bad? Keep in mind there are multiple room types and points required, I just put the cheapest I could find that was available on the site as of now (January 12). Would be interested to know if you call to book your VIP and select an available date below if they would tell you it's available or not.... also, I think the VIP package limits you to certain room types? Perhaps I'm wrong.

That seems short - our VIP was for 18 months - are you sure it’s not Sept 2021?
We didn’t have any issue getting a reservation in NYC which can be difficult to book - we never tried for Marbrisa - but still shouldn’t be that hard....They won’t want to make it too hard to get a reservation because they want you to buy in while you’re there.

Thank you so much everyone! Good to know. I should clarify that we bought it in June 2019 but just got onto this TUG site in 2020. The VIP is for 15 months so it ends in Sept 2020. We are looking to own a timeshare at Marbrisa or somewhere else in West coast with HGV but def looking on secondary market.
