As I'm musing about a year from now - I may use my Manor Club rather than try to trade it for Cape Cod, etc. Not sure. But I know one thing about my kids - they love nice pools with a pool bar. They like to be able to get snacks - and my husband and I like to get rum punches.

Obviously we're not deciding where we stay based on chicken fingers and pina coladas - just asking. THANKS.

Not sure about the pool bar since it was not open when we were there last Oct, but both the indoor and outdoor pool at MMC is right next to the marketplace where I know they can get pizza and other snacks. Adults can even get some nice wine there. I recommend the Governor's White from the Williamsburg Winery, nice -light and fruity white wine.

When we were there in the summer 2 years ago, there was not a pool bar at either of the outdoor pools. As mentioned, the Marketplace is next to the outdoor/indoor pools next to the check-in building. The larger outdoor pool had a small building next to it, but there were just vending machines in it. Maybe it's changed.

I did not visit the larger pool this year. Two years ago, they sold smoothies and other goodies from the building you describe.

I was just there.

They sell smoothies at the larger pool and you can get same in Marketplace adjoining original pool.

No alcoholic drinks for sale except in marketplace and then only beer/wine by bottle/can

If you want a fancy pool, then I don't suggest Manor Club. I love the resort, but the pools, while nice, are somewhat small and plain.
