Manor Club for $938?

No way it will pass ROFR. Or at least I would hope not.
 
It will pass ROFR (Lucky person). My friend bought his gold one for exactly 1000$ on ebay this spring and it went through!:whoopie: I couldnt believe it but since this one went for 938$... i guess it's true to confirm that we can now find those deals more easily.... :eek:
 
Gold weeks at Manor Club are not desireable weeks other than maybe Thanksgiving.

February and March are cold and wet, and although November is a good weather month, tourism in Williamsburg is very slow.

I wouldn't say that the person got a great bargain even if they want to stay there. For November, you can buy getaways every week except for Thanksgiving for $399 a week. Maintenance Fees are almost double that.
 
I agree. I personally wouldnt want an MMC gold week for free. MMC gold weeks are 9-12 and 44-47.
With maintenance fees currently at $845, IMO its too high to pay for what should be a mediocre trading unit at best.

If $938 on resale is just a mediocre deal, then what did these weeks cost new from the developer?

They didn't say it was a mediocre deal; just that MMC gold is a mediocre trader in II. I will admit that this is a great deal for the winning bidder when comparing to developer prices.

Exactly right. Its a great deal if thats what the buyer wants and its fantastic compared to developer pricing. There are a lot of great deals on EBAY for units that some people love but others have no use for. This is one of them.
