Manhattan Club Reservation Issue

Just called to make reservations way in advance (April, 2009) for a Friday and Saturday night weekend. After being placed on hold, I was told that they could not give me the Saturday at this time as I already had two Saturday nights reserved and that was their maximum.

They suggested that I call from the Club in November after I had checked in and they would add the Saturday night (I assume only if available!).

I've never come up against this before but we are resale owners and have only had it for two years. Is this a long-standing rule or did they just add it? Seems to fly in the face of trying to plan in advance. The lack of availability of weekend reservations within a few months was a big disappointment, but I resolved simply to plan way ahead. Now it seems that could be a problem
 
They sold units with 3 wk ends, 2 wk ends, 1 wkend, and no weekend. Do you know how many your resale had on its contract. We sold a 3 wk end and I would be very upset if they aren't getting it.
 
I have the Founder's package - three weekends. They are not telling me that I can't get three weekends - only that I can't have reservations for three Saturday nights at one time.
 
After some back and forth with MC, an associate faxed me the pertinent pages of the T&C confirming what I was told - only two Saturday nights can be reserved at one time. The night I wanted is only five months after my next reservation - hope I don't have a problem!
