Other than to discourage RCI use, why would Wyndham make there RCI prtal so much suckier than HGVC's?

Why can I only search 120 days?

Why can't I see inventory without entering a narrowed down parameter list?

Has anyone found any workaround to make the system more usable?????

all you have to do is set your search and satisfy the 120 day parameter, then after you search just click the X next to dates under filters to remove it. Now it will show all dates. You can also remove other filters you like as well. The restrictions only apply to the initial search.

worth mentioning its still a bit glitchy on ipad, but doable.

Only thing I find worth complaining about is it shows results in calendar instead of list, but that is the same for some others too

I tried 'X'ing out the dates and most of the time it 'erases' the date from the screen, but still searches within the previous parameter.

Now, I am using Chrome as a browser, but I will try explorer and see if that makes a difference. Oh, After Wyndham's web site comes back online. Unlike HGVC, which stays up 24-7. Uggh.

hey, at least there is a Wyndham online reservation tool, unlike some other star-studded vacation network.

I've been having these problems too, but I kind of put it down to not having any points deposited into my account(kind of like II with the *wood not real week marker).

Also have noticed not all resorts show up for an area, I sometimes need to look at the recomondations to see all resorts/units for an area.

OK,
I tried in Internet Explorer and the results are generally poor. Even if you 'X' out the search criteria the system will reinstate the date parameter as you widdle down your search at whim.

This really sucks as it devalues your vacation ownership usability and makes something that is supposed to bring joy, namely shopping for wonderful vacations, a frustrating chore.

Man, if I sucked at my job this bad, I'd be fired!

I encourage any other concerned, affected users to call the wyndham RCI desk and ask the representative to send an email to the web development team and supervisors indicating how frustrating the wyndham web portal is.

I got a helpful representative who said she has heard this before, and that she would forward the comment. If people don't make thier opinion known, they will think all is.well.

Thanks, Paul

fWIW, i just did e method i told you, and it works fine from my ipad. I X out the original parameters and it is showing me all dates available, going well into the future past the inital parameter. Dont know what to tell you.

I do see the dates available. But, then if you click on one of the months outside the range of the initial search, you get "no results available" (at least, I do on Mac OS/Safari). Likewise, if you click on an area that has inventory outside the dates of the original search, you only get inventory within the original dates when you drill down.
