Ok, I have to say I loved the movie too...even if Pierce can't sing ! And I must admit, I saw the play AFTER I saw the movie, and all I could think was that the guy playing Sam sure wasn't as good looking as Pierce Brosnan :D

Looks like the Singing Queens to me. How fun. Thanks for sharing.

Even DH loved the movie and he HATES musicals. Pierce's singing was terrible. I don't care how good looking he is, cast someone who can sing.

I saw the show in the Wintergarden Theatre as well, before I saw the movie.

I guess my expectations for the movie weren't that high. I mean, c'mon, Pierce Brosnan and Meryl Streep in a musical? Ya gotta know it's gonna be cheesy and it didn't disappoint.

That being said, we love the movie and hubby and I are humming Abba tunes for days after we plunk it in the DVD for an evening.

Your pictures make me crave a granddaughter even more. I have two great little grandsons, but a girl next time would sure be nice!! That's definitely a huge memory maker.
