Making reservations with Resale vs Developer, having issues

I am having issues booking a reservation in Nov of this year, using resale points. I CAN book the exact same reservation using Developer points. So I am within the 10 month mark and it should in theory work, but I get the Oops screen.

Has anyone else noticed this happening to them?

I tried booking it again, later today and got the same results.

I didn't get a chance to call, but I thought I would try it out on the app first.

It worked fine on the app, So perhaps the app is now my go to instead of the web page.

With Wyndham IT, why is it always 1 step forward, 2 steps back? I had 35 years IT experience in my previous life (pre-retirement) and I always understood that an app was a different frontend to access the same backend data as the full website. Almost every business has on app and they typically work seamlessly with the website. Leave it to Wyndham screw it up?

Did you try using the app instead? I’ve been having a lot of luck with that when he website glitches out.

The app is my go-to first nowadays since I can perform both MAC based searches and date based searches via the app. I only use the website when I need to make a date range search that includes accessible units, since that is a known issue with the app.

I still can't book January 3-10, 2026 at Wyndham Santa Barbara. That is my fixed week, converted to points, and I've been trying for a couple of months. App and website both return "This location is not eligible for the selected date range."

I have yet to use the app to actually make a booking, but the observations from posts here and on facebook is that the website seems to have regressed again in terms of things not working properly and strangely enough the app seems to be working better. This is frustrating.

To book resale on a webpage, you must start from the "dashboard" search. Performing the search this way the system allows you complete the booking using resale points. I'm very much not a fan of using the app for booking and reservation management.
