Making 2020 Maintenance Fee Payment on MarriottVacationClub Website?

FYI: If you use your credit card to pay your 2020 Marriott Maintenance Fees then be sure to go back into the website after you make payment (within a few days) to be 100% sure that your payment was processed correctly (and you should have a zero balance on each week you own).

If your account does not show a zero balance then you may need to make a direct phone call to Marriott and work with them to resolve the situation.

I am posting this as this situation recently happened to me, and did finally resolve itself.

Happy Holidays to Everyone!

Suggestion only after I used my CC on the website. I always print and keep in my personal file that I have make a payment on that date using my CC.

This is my paper trail for any problems in the future and for my records.

Agreed.
MF Payment via the website has become a major logistical challenge this year.
Some of ours went through OK and showed zero balance.
Some appeared to go through OK and displayed payment accepted, but later still showed a non zero balance.
They now all show a zero balance, albeit many days later they still do not show on our credit card transactions.
The available balance on our credit card has reduced to the correct amount for the payment, suggesting the payments are still pending although they don’t show as such.
Surely this should be a simple process?
I do though have a screenshot showing they are all now zero balance, just in case.

PS
I did eventually manage to have a webchat with Owner Services to ask for confirmation that my payments had gone through.
They said that they could not confirm this, as their Finance Department was then closed for business!

I paid a Sheraton Desert Oasis maintenance fee in Sept using my Bonvoy American Express business card and got 6X Bonvoy points. I thought any payments of Marriott or Vistana maintenance fees earn 6X points on a Bonvoy credit card.

I also check my credit card online for a few days after the Marriott payment. Not only to make sure it coded as "travel" for the bonus points, but to make sure there was only one charge.

I'm on the phone with MVCI right now. Apparently with the Dec 2 payments, they had a lot of owners that ended up making double payments because of the website issues. They're working through those refunds right now.

Steven; Sorry to read today on another thread that Marriott hasn't been able to resolve your situation; they really dropped the ball and I'm hoping they'll be able to get it fixed for you without causing further delay. Luckily mine was corrected within a week or so.

Fortunately no issues so far paying Desert Springs Villas and Destination points invoices. Still have Canyon Villas (Due 1/13), Asia Pacific Points (Due 2/3) and Phuket Beach Club due (2/3). Will process payments on Jan. 13th which is when my Marriott Bonvoy Visa billing cycle closes. Looking to get 45 to 60 days free ride on the funds although I'm taking currency risk with the Phuket Beach Club dues which are paid in Thai Baht. Thai Baht was 30.30 to the USD 5 weeks ago. Now at 29.87....Maintenance fees getting more expensive by the day!

I know what you mean about the exchange rate impact on MFs.
In the past I have always paid only just before the due by date to maximise interest I earn on the money.
This year, with all the fluctuations and uncertainty, I paid all of ours immediately after the UK general election when there was a strong GBP bounce.

My historical Thai Baht / USD exchange rates for maintenance fees based on the date the transaction hit my account are as follows:

2008 - 31.37
2009 - 35.45
2010 - 31.94
2011 - 30.42
2012 - 30.53
2013 - 29.36
2014 - 32.73
2015 - 32.70
2016 - 36.26
2017 - 35.42
2018 - 31.85
2019 - 31.64

Overall I have been very happy with the maintenance fee management by the Phuket Beach Club boards over the years. Always looking for ways to become more efficient and improving quality while maintaining a very large and beautiful property. Exchange rates are out of our control and even with that are one of the lowest MF cost per week or enrolled per point value for Platinum weeks.

I called to make my payment over the phone since I can't find my Customer ID to make it online. I didn't even get to hold. They said to call back later.

I have been calling Marriott Owner Services for past three days to get a copy of my MF statement, but keep getting the "heavy volume" message and getting hung up. I see my Club Dues statement but not the MF statement for my Marriott week. Is there a way to get a soft copy of my MF statement?

My account had the same problem, no 2018 MF package for one of the weeks, the one that I bought in 2017. I paid the amount that they told me when I bought a hybrid package in late 2017. At end of 2018, amount showed up as due but no MF package insert either. I called and escalated and they loaded the 2018 and 2019 MF packages. Then several weeks before 2020 MF for that week was determined, the 2018 and 2019 MF inserts disappeared again. When 2020 MF amount showed up, still no MF package inserts. I called MVC 4 times and finally 2018, 2019 and 2020 packages all showed up after 2 weeks.

I've actually had no issues, however, sad to say not surprised. One always hopes Marriott IT is going to do better, but....

You don't see under Ownership Fee Packages? Login to your account and then click on this link: https://owners.marriottvacationclub.com/timeshare/mvco/mfees/getpackagesinserts
No, all I see here is the Club Due statement. Again, I do see both amounts due (Club Due and TS HOA MF), but only Club Due statement on this page (your provided link).

And I have had no luck reaching anyone by phone at MVC Owner Services.

Maybe I will just pay the amts due and call at a later date for someone to help load the missing TS MF statement (as VacationForever did).
