Makai Guy-

Can you please explain how this worked? You noted it was a "shill" post so another could respond (which they did), and I noticed a link in the post, but didn't click on the link.

Is this newer-type risk appearing on boards? Would opening the link possibly create a problem?

Does this now mean we should be careful opening any links on the BBS from other than "known" TUG members? If so, this might be a good reason to require the $15 membership fee to post. My guess is few spammers, or Shills would pay a fee to post.

Geesh! I almost forgot to wish you a Merry Christmas!

its happened a few times here, also note the "kenya information" post...as well as a few others.

spammers are getting more clever, first posting a question that would require an answer that lets them post their own link etc.

its fairly easy to spot, as when it happens, its always by 2 people who only just recently registered.
