The Owners Agreement states that, as an owner, the ONE thing that I am guaranteed is the right to use a week in the season that I bought, in the size villa I bought, and with the view that I bought (if applicable).

If they cannot deliver that, then they have breached their own contract. If a similar thing happened to me, and I was locked out of my 3 bdrm pool villa, I'd escalate. It they're unable to deliver what they were legally bound to deliver during my upcoming vacation, then I'd expect them to make it right by offering up another week in the season that I bought in the size villa I bought and with the view that I bought. Next year will work fine, thank you very much.

Yes, Suzanne did respond promptly. She had one of the owner services managers call me. We had a polite discussion about the situation and I was given some star points a nice gesture. I just hope they see this situation and strive to improve their customer's experience. This upset could have been avoided with a little notice and information.
