Hello my fellow tuggers,
due to COVID, all resorts are locked down. In turn, should the utility bills go down? Why the management still hold the same number of workers to do less work? Why they paying the maids? Are we the owners with deeds not renters? and are they working for us managing our timeshare? are we paying them from our MF? Does our maintenance fee include the utilities, maids, and workers. So if the bills go down should they pass it on to us and our MF should go down too? however, they still collect the same amount every month. Where would the extra money goes? into their pockets? I questioned them about it. They said that "our contract state that we pay that much of MF and nothing about the adjustment." How come our MF kept going up? Yet no one ever thought of the lock down before and no one ever thought of paying the maids for not cleaning our room. Noone thought of paying electricity and not using the AC so on...
Even the utility companies let you pay bills late without penalty but these timeshare managers impose late fees.
Is there anything we can do about this. At this point in time, things are uncertain and we are all stressed out. we are asked to stay home. WHo think of vacation or MF. However, these vampires still suck out our money as much as they could.
