Under the new rules - I don't think so - or II may confirm it - but Starwood will not authorize it when II tries to verify the deposit.
Thanks Denise: I was afraid of that, it took my request but I can not pay my MF until next month for 2013. What will happen now? I know the week will be gone by the time I can pay ~ and also my credit card has been charged.

You could charge your MF on your credit card?
I know but I pay it off each month and I don't want to add any more than I can handle this month. So I have to risk it I guess and see what happens. Thanks you again for your reply.

If Starwood won't verify the deposit, II will cancel your exchange. The interest for one month will be minimal.

As has been discussed numerous times on TUG, there's nothing new about this rule for SBP. They've required that maintenance be paid before assigning/depositing to Interval for at least 5 years.
O-K everybody.....I paid the MF this morning and asked week to be deposited to II. Now I just hope they get it in time so that my week is not cancelled.

I'm a little confused. I thought you already did an instant online exchange with this deposit? Did you attempt an exchange without "designating it for exchange" with Starwood, first? Or is it a true fixed week?

It's Broadway Plantation, so I don't think there's any way for it to be a fixed week.

I just went through this since Starwood didn't mark my 2013 available even though I paid the MF's. When II verified my exchange, they said it wasnt available and put a courtesy 7 day hold on the exchange while things got sorted out with Starwood. Everything was straightened out in ~1 day and I have my exchange now.

Oh that's right - you did the online deposit, so no one told you that you had to pay the MF.
