Main Street Station - purchase question

I am an owner at the Beach House but I often spend time in Breckenridge, so I was hoping I could get some info about the purchase options there. It seems a little confusing because they are listed as 1/20th shares so I am not sure exactly what I would get if I purchased. I've also seen some on Redweek which are practically being given away, which are for "Float weeks". Again I am not sure what that means... is that 7 summer days, etc.?

As I understand it, a winter week purchase also includes some summer "float days" (not sure exactly how many or how tough they would be to use). I am assuming the "float weeks" are only for those summer dates?

The reason I am interested, is because my wife and I love Breck but don't ski, so we would only visit in the summer. Could it be worth it to purchase a prime winter week (which I assume includes some number of summer float days), rent out the winter week, and use the float days for ourselves? Has anyone who owns there ever rented out their ski season week, and if so was the process difficult, and did it cover the entire yearly maint. fee costs?

Thanks for any advice!

We just checked out of the Hyatt Breck yesterday and I noticed that they have a number of units that the HOA is selling. I have attached a picture of the listings. There may be some good deals here, especially with the 20% discount they are currently offering. We don’t own there, so I can’t provide any insights into how the float system works. I do see both float and fixed weeks listed though.

Normally I would advise buying from them, but depending on the situation it could make sense. It would be worth comparing to redweek listings. Good luck with your search.

PS- I apologize for the torn up pages. We weren’t interested, so I just tore them up last night.
