Hi gang!

When I bought my latest digital camera, it came with an opportunity to register it on the web in case it was lost. A sticker is put on the camera with a web address: www.return2me.net
and the identification number of the camera. If the camera is found, it says to go to the web address or an 800 number and enter the id # and I guess I'll be contacted.

You can order tags from their website and here's what their home page says:

Since 2001, Return2Me and Return2You has had the mission of helping good Samaritans return lost products to the rightful owner. Americans are carrying more portable electronic devices than ever before, from Smart phones, PDAs, and laptop computers to MP3 players, digital cameras and camcorders. As we acquire more of these ever smaller devices, they become more difficult to keep track of and the possibility of losing one of these expense devices or the priceless data or pictures they contain, becomes more likely. Adhering a Return2You label to your possessions greatly increases your chance of having your valuables returned to you!

Hope this helps someone!
