My family will be staying in Pompano Beach Easter week.
I belive my resort is about 10 minutes away from Los Olas Blvd.
Can anyone recommend a nice (or very nice) place for Easter dinner either on Los Olas Blvd. or Pompano Beach.
Thank you very much!

J,

I'd recommend the Sea Watch Restuarant and Louge, 6002 N Ocean Blvd, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, FL 33308
Ph:954-781-2200

Much closer than going to Las Olas - Great Food, Fantastic ambience, ocean views. If you decide to go, make reservations and go early and go upstairs to sit outside on the covered deck facing the ocean and enjoy a drink.

Bon appetit.

I agree with Richard. Sea Watch is my favorite restaurant in the area. The views are great, and the food is wonderful and reasonably priced.

I don't know if it's still there, but we used to like to eat at Mango's.

Sea Watch may be very busy

I agree that you must go to Sea Watch, but for Easter it may be quite a long wait. They may or may not take reservations for your size of party. I would call ahead to find out. Sea Watch is nice because it is right on the water. If you are staying in Pompano, you should also go to Aruba's. It is much more casual and will make a fun outing for food and beverages. It also sits in the sand in Lauderdale by the Sea, just down from Pompano. If you are looking for Gourmet dining, try Café Max in Pompano on Atlantic Blvd. Reservations are a must and Café Max is very expensive, but great food. There is also a Houston's on the Inter coastal on Atlantic Blvd in Pompano. Also prepare yourself for a wait at Houston's.

Mango's is still on Las Olas, but O'Hare's will be closing soon due to the expansion of the Riverside Hotel. A day trip to Las Olas will more then likely be enough time for the area as some shops have closed, but it is still a very nice day trip. There is a great Crepe place on Las Olas if you are in the mood for good Crepes. Johnny V's on Las Olas is also very good and a nice night spot for a cocktail. Have fun!

I go to SeaWatch for lunch. And upstairs is usually empty, even when there is a wait downstairs.

Thank you all so much! What a wealth of information!

Although casual dining in a nice atmosphere is a must for most nights, we would prefer to nicer restaurant for dinner. Any other suggestions? Having a reservation is a must.

Thank you again! I printed out all the information and will make sure we try to visit all!
