per tuggers great advice, I had an OGS for July 2017 for 2Br in Lincoln, NH for family with 3 teens. Got a hit for #5876 Loon Mtn. Reviews are mixed and photos look a bit dated. 23 TPUs (but that doesn't really matter). Would rather have South Mtn or In Season, but don't know if getting a 2 BR for mid-July is relatively assured. Keep or toss? thanks, Elaine

Well, your probably not going to get a 2BR at South Mountain. I haven't seen one of those in years. Pollard Brook though is a definite possibility, lots of developer units get put in there and a lot of Extra Vacations. I have scored very high demand weeks there in recent years.

It has been quite a few years since I stayed at Village of Loon Mountain. I recall large pools and clean but dated units (but this is NH, on some level I expect dated).

The location is right....in the heart of the White Mountains and across from Loon which has a lot of summer activities.

Personally, I think I would toss it back and hold out for Pollard Brook.

Another option for you to consider if you need a large unit is the Suites at Attitash Mountain Village. This is our second choice when we can't get into Pollard in the summer.

You can also try Eastern Slope in North Conway....personally I don't like the location because I don't go to NH for packed streets, outlets and chain restaurants. But, that may fit for you.

I just picked up a 3br at Polland Brook last week online for August. I've been to the Village of Loon, but it was quite a while ago and it was barely acceptable. Old, spartan furnishings, no A/C and maintenance problems - one of which was not resolved. Nice location, just up the road from Polland and Loon, but I would be looking for a good recent review before going back. They were rebuilding a building that burned when I was there, so if you could get that building which may have an elevator and better furnishings, it might be worth a try.

2017. We have a ton of RCI credits to use, so don't need a direct trade, but thanks.

You might look for a Deer Park week. We had a decent week there a few years ago.
