it can take several months before you get a hit, especially if you are getting rid of something that is being sold for a $1.. including all closing fees on Ebay.

Posted where? It looks like this is your first post on TUG. Once you have a potential new owner of your TS, there are people here who can do the transfer if you aren't comfortable doing it yourself. It costs a couple hundred$.
Make your ad attractive. Post pictures. Tell buyers about resort amenities. List how much MF is. Find out from the resort what they charge to change owners. Offer a new buyer to pay that. Then after you are happy with your ad, come back and refresh it to put it back at the top of the listings. Hundreds and hundreds of timeshares have been rehomed here. But it isn't automatic.
