I am looking to sell our time share that we recently purchased.

It’s a 2bedroom 2bath unit for use on the odd years.

I am new to all of this so any help would be appreciated!

If money is still owed on the recent purchase, then it is impossible to sell.

That's no exaggeration. Impossible is just the stone cold truth of the situation.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Stick around TUG-BBS & you can learn lots about how to deal with WestGate & how to make the most of what you own if it turns out you're stuck with it.

You can also learn how not to get hornswoggled & bamboozled out of major money by those shifty timeshare "exit" & timeshare "cancellation" operations that advertise on the radio, also how not to get zapped out of hard-earned cash by crooked operations saying they'll sell your timeshare for you but only after you pony up big bux in advance.

How recently did you purchase? If you were hoping to be able to sell your timeshare for thousands of dollars are you aware that Westgate has zero resale value (and in some cases negative value). If already paid in full then you could give it away but why not try to make the best of it and make memorable vacations? I haven’t stayed in a Westgate resort but what I have read is that they are nice resorts. It is the sales team that you need to stay away from. If you have a mortgage then you, and only you, would need to decide if you want to continue paying on a mortgage for something that you would have trouble giving away (even if owned outright).
