Looking to buy MVC AP points to reach the next level.

Hello everyone,

I am an owner with a "select level" at MVC AP.
Currently, I need 400 MVC AP points to reach the executive level.
I am not interested in buying directly from the MVC office. However, I want to buy them from the resale market. Can you direct me on how I can do that? Note, I have been told that the resale market price is around $2/pt.
Can you direct me to the right place/way/method to buy them from the resale market?
I also need some extra points for this year and I need to rent some points from MVC AP owners.

Marriott Phuket Beach Club, Aruba Surf Club, Grand Chateau, Canyon Villas, Desert Springs Villas II, Abound & Asia Pacific Points
There is a Marriott Vacation Club Asia Pacific - Owners' Network facebook page where you can occasionally find individuals selling and/or renting points. $2/pt sounds a little low but don't have any examples of actual AP resales. APresale website has points for sale at $4.75 to $6.

Yes, it's low. You may get it past ROFR, you may not. I failed once and passed the next time.

Also, if you live in the US, there may be a contractual issue buying resale now, from what I've heard.

Do you mean Asia Pacific Points or Abound Points?

Unfortunately, with the renaming of Destination Points to Abound Points I'm now seeing people use 'MVC AP' for Abound as well as Asia Pacific.

I know on Redweek sight there are resales, the rate to get the resales in network had been additional $3 a point- (sure its been raised since everything else has gone up) We are in the same boat need a few points to get to Executive- been looking at options as well)
