I sent a note to HICV inquiring about a one-time transfer of HICV points and was told that it can be done:

From HICV:
"A one-time transfer can be completed. The original owner would need to submit a written request to ownersupport@holidayinnclub.com along with their membership information, to complete the transfer."

My current cost per 1K points is $5.22. I am interested in purchasing up to 100K 2015 or 2016 points at this price point. Let me know if you are interested.

Thanks,

Scott

Turns out transferring points is generally not allowed between accounts without an owner in common. The only exception is transferring remaining points on an account from a seller to a buyer after a transaction on the resale market...Oh well

Thanks to the those who offered to sell points or make reservations!
